John Allen Taylor grew up in Los Angeles, CA, completed his bachelors in Spokane, WA, and finished his masters in Boston, MA. He coordinates the Writing Center at the University of Michigan-Dearborn and teaches writing. He has worked in the writing centers at Whitworth University, Boston Architectural College, & Emerson College, where he also completed an MFA in poetry & taught in the First Year Writing Program.

He lives in Ypsilanti, Michigan with his wife, two cats, one dog, and a new baby.
